She was predeceased by: her son Robert Creel; her parents, Herman Louis Crout, Sr. and Helen Speights Crout; and her brother-in-law Michael Stephen Thompson. She is survived by: her sons, Phillip Hunt of Hazel Green, AL and Brandon Lester (Sharon); and her siblings, Herman Louis Crout, Jr. (Beth) and Connie Thompson. She is also survived by nephews, nieces, and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Emmanuel Baptist Church (1940 Old Hwy 35 N, Columbia, MS 39429). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 from 11:45 AM to 12:00 PM at the Emmanuel Baptist Church Cemetery (1940 Old Hwy 35 N, Columbia, MS 39429).
