With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Donna Emler of Columbia, Mississippi, who passed away on July 10, 2025 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Louie Emler; her parents, Don Thompson and Marilyn Thompson; her parents-in-law, Robert Emler and Billie Bracey; and her nephews, T. J. McNabb and Robbie Emler.
She is survived by: her daughters, Tina Neal (Chris) and Traci Tinajero (Cuco); her adoptive daughter Sherri Cooper; her brother Allen Thompson (Donna); her grandchildren, Trent Lord (Nyla), Amber Bounds (Tony), Michael Lord (Catie), Tyler Tinajero and Daniel Tinajero; and her great grandchildren, Bella Lord, Seeley Lord, Matthew Bounds, Layken Bounds, Hunter Bounds, Mayleigh Lord, Kayleigh Lord, Lincoln Lord and William Neal.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Colonial Funeral Home (323 2nd St, Columbia, MS 39429). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
