She was predeceased by: her husband Billie Moree (Bill); her son David McCain; her parents, Charles Robert Turnage and Era Jane Pounds Turnage; and her siblings, George Turnage, Billie Langston, Bobbie Harrell and Peggy Turnage.
She is survived by: her sister Jean Turner; her grandchildren, Charles McCain, Matthew McCain and Tabatha Connett; her nieces, Trudy Mulford and Melissa Lowery (Scott); her great-niece Sarah Kay Saucier; and her close friend Teresa Morrison. She is also survived by 7 Great Grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Hathorn Funeral Home (167 Hwy 198, Columbia, MS 39429). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 at the Woodlawn Cemetery.
