With profound sadness, we say goodbye to George Ford May of Columbia, Mississippi, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Box and Ernestine Ford May; and his brothers, David May and Phillip May. He is survived by: his wife Patsy Stogner May of Columbia; his sons, Scott May (Amy) of Columbia and Eric May of Columbia; his brother Tom May of Columbia; and his grandchild Jaelynn Peak of Columbia. He is also survived by his family, his church brothers and sisters.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 25th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Cedar Grove Baptist Church (54 Cedar Grove Rd, Columbia, MS 39429). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 25th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Saturday, April 25th 2026 at 12:30 PM at the Cedar Grove Baptist Church Cemetery (54 Cedar Grove Rd, Columbia, MS 39429).
