He was predeceased by: his parents, Elzey Arinder and Sallie Bolin Arinder; his former wife Johnnie Mae Bullock Arinder; his wife Frances Harrell Arinder; his siblings, Barbara Randall, Lottie Kendrick, Jeanette Reagan, Thelma Hutson, Elsie Mae Arinder, Cleo Arinders, Charles Arinder, Aubra Arinder, Lanny Arinder, Howard Arinder and Verlon Arinder; and his stepson Dale Mullins.
He is survived by: his children, Herbert Arinder, Jr., Pauline Carson (Kenny) and Christie Pounds (Stacey); his stepchildren, Shelby Morgan, David Turnage, Patsy Barber and Judy Malek; and his grandchildren, Kim Miller, Dustin Arinder (Mandy) of Whitney Cox, P. J, Polk and Tori Polk Austin. He is also survived by nine Great Grandchildren.
