He was predeceased by: his wife Tamay Price Dunaway; his parents, Watts Dunaway and Lavern Carney Dunaway; his brother Benny Larue Dunaway; his parents-in-law, Ralph Price and Meryl Price; and his brother-in-law Robert Wayne Robertson.
He is survived by: his children, Colton Dunaway, Mandi Turner and Angela Chitwood (Kenneth); his siblings, Vernon Dunaway (Linda), Reta Sandifer (Eddie) and Nona Robertson; his brother-in-law Everette Price (Wanda); and his grandchildren, Brandon Main (April), Whitney Allen, Dakota Parker (Jayme), Blace Hamilton and Carley Carter (Alex). He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren; and numerous extended family.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 6th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Pine Grove United Pentecostal Church. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, May 6th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
