She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie S. Johnson and Mary Elizabeth Davis Johnson; her husband Winston Cassell Entrekin; her son Michael Anthony Entrekin; her siblings, Lillie Mae Spangler, Estelle Cameron, Glen, Jerold, Quinton, Gordon and Curtis Johnson; and her son-in-law Michael Everett.
She is survived by: her children, Regina Dear (Mike), Elizabeth Entrekin, Lisa Everett, Paul Entrekin and Roy Entrekin (Rebecca); and her grandchildren, Phillip Dear (Molly), Eric Dear (Dawn), Christopher Sargent (Julie), Shaun Entrekin (Brittany), Kaitlin Prattini (Kevin), Isaac Entrekin and James Entrekin.
Visitation was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Baxterville Baptist Church (625 Gulf Camp Rd, Lumberton, MS 39455). A funeral service was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Baxterville Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in memory of Iris Entrekin to the Gideons, an organization that Iris held dear.
