She was predeceased by : her husband Cleveland Fortner, Sr.; her parents, Will Blackwell and Ollie Blackwell; and her children, Patricia Fortner, Cleveland "Ricky" Fortner, Jr. and Willard Fortner.

She is survived by : her daughters, Susan Fortner and Buffie Fortner Neal; her grandchildren, Cleveland "Ricky" Fortner III and Jennifer Fortner; and her great grandchildren, Madison Kate Fortner, Tyler Beasley and Zach Beasley. She is also survived by Nieces and Nephews.
