It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jane Griffin of Columbia, Mississippi, who passed away on March 31, 2026, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Pauline Channell (Blackmon) and Fred Allen Channell; her brothers, Danny and James Channell; and her daughter Linda Jones.
She is survived by: her children, Paula Hancock of Canton, MS and Daniel Holmes of Seattle, WA; her siblings, Ann Williams of McComb, MS, Katherine Channell of Brookhaven, MS and John Channell of Baton Rouge, LA.; and her grandchildren, Colin, Christian, Amber, Angelique, Kyra, Kai, Daniel, Addison and Sydney.
