She was predeceased by: her husband Otto Tolar; her parents, Howard Harrell and Iola Robbins Harrell; her sisters, Freda Dyess and Sarah Tolar; her nephews, Harrell Dyess and Roger Tolar; and her great-nephew Tyler Dyess.
She is survived by: her daughter Alicia Bass (Travis); and her granddaughter Constance Bass.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, July 8th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Wednesday, July 9th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Colonial Funeral Home (323 2nd St, Columbia, MS 39429). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, July 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
