He was predeceased by: his wife Linda DuBose; his parents, Dr. David DuBose and Daisy Anglin DuBose; and his brothers, Jake DuBose and Mack DuBose.
He is survived by: his children, Cathy Bryant (Darnell) of Columbia, John DuBose, Sr. (Carla) of Lumberton, MS, Paul DuBose (Susan) of Hattiesburg, MS and Stewart DuBose of Shreveport, LA; and his sister Alice Lockhart of Lumberton. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; and sixteen great-grandchildren.
