He was predeceased by: his parents, Olen Polk and Gay Sylvest Polk; his brother Tommy Polk; and his nephews, Zaran Watts and Austin Rucker.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret Watts Polk of Columbia, MS; his children, Tony Polk (Faith) of Lottie, LA and Theresa Powell (Scott) of Columbia, MS; his grandchildren, Katarina Powell and Josh Powell; and his great grandchildren, Brantley Hart, Olan Powell, Scotlyn Peak, Brynlee Powell, Blakely Powell and Knox Powell. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Improve Baptist Church (2979 MS-44, Columbia, MS 39429). A graveside service was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Improve Baptist Church Cemetery (2979 MS-44, Columbia, MS 39429).
