We are sad to announce that, on April 21, 2023, at the age of 90, Mildred Lena Bounds of Columbia, Mississippi, born in Marion, Mississippi passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecil Broom and Eula Dudley Broom; her husband Hershel W. Bounds; and her siblings, Shelton Frank Broom, Howard Broom, Jimmy Broom, Robert Cob Broom, Horace Broom, Velma Martin, Georgia Nell Robbins and Maudie Mae Broom.
She is survived by: her siblings, Charlie Broome (Debbie) of Bassfield, MS, Don Broom of Columbia, MS and Bonnie Maxwell of Columbia, MS; and her siblings-in-law, Eunice Reeves of St. Amant, LA, Jenny Broom of Columbia, Marlene Bounds and Willis Robbins.
She gave them to friends, family, and donated crocheted lap rugs to nursing homes.
