She was predeceased by: her parents, Bryce Harlan, Sr. and Josephine May Heasly Harlan; and her brothers, Bryce Harlan, Jr. and Daniel Harlan. She is survived by: her husband John Bowman of Columbia, MS; her sons, Christopher Paul Black (Amy) of Eighty-Four, PA and Scott Patrick Black (Stacey) of Wentzville, MO; her sisters, Kathy Kemerer and Billie Harlan; and her grandchildren, Benjamin Black, Amanda Black, Nicholas Black, Alex Black, Jared Bowman and Emily Bowman. She is also survived by nephews, nieces, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Hathorn Funeral Home (167 Hwy 198, Columbia, MS 39429). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
