In loving memory of Sue Thompson of Columbia, Mississippi, who departed this world on May 26, 2025 at the age of 94. Sue leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Bruce F. Thompson; her parents, Ben Cook and Ruby Jackson Cook; her siblings, Wanzie Cook, G. D. Cook and Jerry Cook; her niece Delores Walker; and her nephew Ronnie Cook.
She is survived by: her sisters, Rebecca Ulmer of Columbia and Janet Stuckey (C. R.) of Columbia; and her nieces and nephews, Linda Sue Wood, Debbie Cook, April Ulmer, Darrell Cook, Marshall Cook and Benjamin Charles Stuckey.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Colonial Funeral Home (323 2nd St, Columbia, MS 39429). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. Because of Covid in 2020, Sue finally closed her shop at the age of 89.
