She was predeceased by : her husband Burt Powell; her son Benjamin Adam Powell; her parents, Milton "Ben" Geiger and Alice White Geiger; and her brother Jeffery Geiger.

She is survived by : her children, Lisa Ramshur, Cindy Robichaux (Jeff) and Scott Powell; her brother Milt "Butch" Geiger; her grandchildren, Breanne Lewis, Brice Ramshur, Karlee Powell and Peyton Powell; and her great grandchildren, Ellie Lewis and Josie Lewis.
