He was predeceased by: his wife Nancy Mae Raynes; his stepsons, Curtis Pierce, Thomas Pierce and Brian Pierce; his parents, Mike Arthur and Minnie Carden Raynes; and his granddaughter Brianna Pierce.
He is survived by: his children, Robert Raynes of Magnolia and Susan Wallace of Hattiesburg; and his grandchildren, John "Trey" Fremont Wallace, III, Scott Pierce, Allen Pierce, Channing Pierce, Jackie Pierce Bennett, Courtney Pierce Sistrunk and Nicole Pierce. He is also survived by Great Grandchildren; and a host of Beloved Nieces & Nephews.
