He was predeceased by: his father Edgar Carson; his wife Virginia Hickman Lee; and his siblings, William Edgar Lee, Earlie Cohen Lee, George Hilton Lee, Felton Hugh Lee, Herman Otis Lee, Ellis Murphy Lee and Alice Maureen Turnipseed.
He is survived by: his children, Sherry Boyd (Andy) and Dennis Lewis Lee (Jo Nell); his grandsons, Russ Boyd (Jessica), Davis Lee, Landon Boyd (Ashley) and Alex Lee; his great grandchildren, Audrey Boyd, Brady Boyd, Evie Boyd, Ellen Boyd, Emma Kate Lee, Etta Drue Boyd, Sophie Lee and Alaina Boyd; and his grandsons, Lee Boyd and Peyton Lee.
