He was predeceased by: his parents, J. W. Perkins and Lovie Smith Perkins. He is survived by: his wife Teresa Redwine Perkins; his children, Heather Riley (William), Amy Vaden (Caleb), Matthew Perkins (Jessica) and Allison Perkins; his grandchildren, Jack, Lexie Riley, Elijah Vaden (Jaeden), Noah, Christian, Isaiah Vaden, Andrew and Ella Perkins; and his brother Pat Perkins.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his honor to the Lowndes County District 2 Volunteer Fire Department at Suite 128, Jess Lyons Road, Columbus, MS 39705.
