He was predeceased by: his parents, Emmett Cecil Sanford Jr. and Kay Denman Box of Vernon, Alabama.. He is survived by: his wife Shannon Stephens Sanford; his son Stephen Sanford (Skyler Sanford Thomas); his grandchildren, Jedi Sanford, Cully Sanford, Barrett Thomas and Sullivan Thomas; and his sisters, Sherill Anne Wilson (Freddie) and Lori Sanford Dolan (Bobby). He is also survived by relatives and friends.
