She was predeceased by: her parents, R. C. Shepherd and Mildred Mabus Shepherd; her husbands, Kenneth Fowler and Donald Taylor; and her daughter Donna Beth Evans.
She is survived by: her son Johnny Taylor of Steens, MS; her siblings, Ricky Shepherd of Aberdeen, MS, Martha Harris of Ft. Walton Beach, FL and Margaret Smith of Columbus, MS; and her grandchildren, Taylor Sansing of Columbus, MS, Matt Taylor of Lexington, KY and Brittany Evans of Columbus, MS. She is also survived by four great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 2nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory (716 2nd Ave N, Columbus, MS 39701). A graveside service was held on Tuesday, December 2nd 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery (1383 Pleasant Hill Rd, Columbus, MS 39702).
