He was predeceased by: his parents, Leon Peeks and Willie Mae Kelly Peeks; his daughter Amy Peeks; his grandson Colson Peeks; and his siblings, Danny Peeks, Billy Ray Peeks, Frank Peeks, Jack Peeks, William Peeks and Margie Nell Gaught.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Owens Peeks of Columbus, MS; his children, Cody Peeks of Columbus, MS, Bobby Joe Peeks, Jr. of Ethelsville, AL, Brian Peeks of Columbus, MS, Tracy Peeks of Columbus, MS and Sarah Peeks; and his siblings, James "Bud" Peeks of Columbus, MS, Jerry Peeks of Millport, AL, Wayne Peeks of Millport, AL, Linda Gibson of Onteonta, AL and Jewell Sandlin of Onteonta, AL. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Memorial Funeral Home Chapel (716 2nd Ave N, Columbus, MS 39701). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
