She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Moore and Mary Jean Adkins Moore; her children, Broderick Willis and Altovese Willis; and her siblings, Walter Moore, Jr., Henry Campbell, Tom Moore, Roosevelt Moore, Jesse Moore Smith and Emma Moore Miller.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Dewayne Willis of Yantley, AL, Daniel Willis of Columbus, MS, Lawrence Willis of Jacksonville, FL, Mechelle Walker of Meridian, MS and Arnedtra "Nette" Mitchell of Columbia, SC; and her siblings, John Moore (Annise) of Chicago, IL, Ruby Moore Brown of Daleville, MS, Mary Christine Moore Drummond of DeKalb, MS and Annie Moore Hopson of Porterville, MS.. She is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, bonus sons, bonus daughters, and a multitude of extended family and faithful, longtime friends.
Ms. Walters would be greatly honored if donations were made in her honor to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation (Susan G. Komen for the Cure, 5005 LBJ Freeway, Suite 250, Dallas, TX, 75244) to continue the fight in eliminating breast cancer; or to the American Heart Association (P.O. Box 840692, Dallas, TX, 75284) in the effort to eradicate or reduce deaths caused by heart disease and stroke.
