He was predeceased by: his parents, Darwin Pitts and Sybolene Brown Pitts; his brothers, Edwin Pitts and Dwayne Pitts; and his sister-in-law Dorothy Pitts.
He is survived by: his daughters, Michelle Sanchez of Nashville, TN and Cynthia Pitts-Keutzer; his sister Cara Fay Vaughan (Tom Parson) of Moody, AL; his sister-in-law Linda Sue Pitts of Steens, MS; his niece Ann Hatcher (Allen) of Columbus, MS; and his grandchildren, Derick Hatcher, Andy Hatcher (Harley), Ashley Childers (Brent), Madison Hatcher, Amelia Hatcher, Carter Hatcher, Gabby Childers and Madelyn Childers.
