He is survived by: his brother Larry Collums; his sibling's children, Leah Glade (Darryl) and Reid Collums (Camille Balsamo-Gillis); his great-nephew Curtis Glade; and his great-nieces, Alice Glade and Cada Collums.

Visitation was held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Lowndes Funeral Home (1131 Lehmberg Rd, Columbus, MS 39702). A memorial service was held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

“Carl was a dear friend of ours at the Beach. He had a place a few houses up from ours and we will miss him driving by in his Golf Cart with Ryder in tow. He would often stop by for Ryder and our dog Nino to have a play date and we would sit out on the patio and solve the problems of the world. Carl was a good friend and a great person who always spoke to everyone. Carl will be missed in our Community dearly. To Carls family and closest of friends, our deepest sympathies.
