He was predeceased by: his mother Sadie Jolly Kinard; and his brothers, Joe "Buddy" Kinard, Jack Kinard, Pete Kinard and James Kinard.
He is survived by: his wife Linda O'Neal Kinard; his daughters, Vikki Bruce (Benjy) and Stacy Combs (Russ); his grandchildren, Cole Bruce (Shawntel), Larissa Tousley (David), Chloe Bruce, James Bruce (Devyn), Lacy McCreery (Chris), Mary Combs, Nate Combs and Maggie Combs; his great grandchildren, Haigen Bruce, Kenzley Bruce, Kynnadi McCreery, Bryson Bruce and Braxton Bruce; and his siblings, Jerry Kinard (Sarah) and Elizabeth "Sissy" Lynam. He is also survived by nieces and nephews and numerous great nieces and nephews.
