He was predeceased by: his father Henry Brownlee; and his brother Clay Brownlee. He is survived by: his mother Elsie McDaniel Brownlee; his wife Phyllis Brownlee; his daughter Magen Page (Chris); his sister Gail Brownlee (Rob Sieffert); his mother-in-law Lera Allbritton; his siblings-in-law, Brian Allbritton (Amy) and Melinda Brownlee; his niece Ashley Hall (Chris); his nephew Kris Brownlee; and his great-nieces, Ella Hall and Adaline Hall.
