He was predeceased by: his parents, Marjorie Blake Shelton and Edlo Ray Shelton; his stepmother Jean Shelton; his grandson Hunter Reed Rodgers; his father-in-law Charlie Skelton; and his sister-in-law Beverly Shelton.
He is survived by: his wife Annette Musgrove Shelton; his children, Nick Shelton (Trish Lazarus), Joseph Musgrove and Danielle Rodgers (Tommy); his grandchildren, Alicen Belsome and Deacon James Rodgers; his brothers, Phillip Shelton, Robert Shelton, Greg Shelton (Brenda) and Sean Shelton (Amanda); and his mother-in-law Onitta Skelton.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Freedom Church (5450 Cal-Kolola Rd, Caledonia, MS 39740). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the same location.
