He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Shackelford and Dessie Rankin Shackelford; and his wife Joyce L. Shackelford. He is survived by: his son Justin Shackelford (Elizabeth); his nieces, Lisa Brewer and Darlene Shackelford; and his cousins, Steve Shackelford and Tom Shackelford.
