He was predeceased by: his parents, Franklin D. Freshour and Mary Virginia Langford Freshour. He is survived by: his siblings, Tommy Tate of Tuscaloosa, AL and Brenda Moran of Macon, MS; and his siblings' children, Sam Tate, Jr., Matthew Tate, Brenden Tate, Trenton Tate and Taylor Tate Hudson.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory (716 2nd Ave N, Columbus, MS 39701). A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Friendship Cemetery.
