He was predeceased by: his parents, Hayward Barton and Dolly Rae Freeman Johnson; his wife Ora H. Johnson; and his sisters, Francis White and Virginia Johnson.
He is survived by: his children, Donald "Gary" Johnson (Donna) of Daphne, AL, William "Keith" Johnson (Lisa) of Germantown, TN and Hill Johnson of Sylacauga, AL; and his siblings, Dorothy Johnson of West Point, MS, Hazel Pearson of Raleigh, NC and Roger Johnson of Tupelo, MS. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
