She was predeceased by: her father William Harrison Gavin; her husband Marvin "Bill" Atkins; her children, Terry Atkins and Sheila Atkins Terrell; and her siblings, William Harrison Gavin, Jr., Elizabeth Dilley and Frances Dodd.
She is survived by: her sons, Ronnie Atkins (Jan), Gary Atkins (Debi) and Steve Atkins; her grandchildren, Brad Atkins (Melissa), Brent Atkins (Heather), Beau Atkins, Lacy Atkins, Addie Talley and Anna Atkins; and her children-in-law, Bunny Atkins and Clay Terrell. She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren.
