He was predeceased by: his father E. L. Heflin; his wives, Janice Heflin and Peggy Heflin; his grandson Jon Tyler Martin; and his stepdaughter Jennifer Seuffer.
He is survived by: his children, Lisa Martin (Andy) of Columbus, MS, John Heflin (Susan) and Doug Heflin (Patricia) of Starkville, MS; his sisters, Linda Heard of Oklahoma and Brenda Lundy of Oklahoma; his grandchildren, Kyle Martin (Amanda), Kale Martin (Anna), Kolby Martin, Noah Heflin, Nason Heflin, Anna Claire Heflin, Ella Kate Heflin, Kevin, Adam, Josh, Casey, Jacob, Justin Crittenden and Jessie Seuffer; and his stepsons, Louis, Mike, John Thompson and Jason Seuffer.
