She was predeceased by: her parents, Ella Lee Jaynes Barnes and Leo McDaniel; her son Scott Carley; her grandson Legend Carley; her stepmother Jewell McDaniel; her grandfathers, Joshua C. Jaynes (Leona) and Burl W. McDaniel (Alice); and her sister Loretta Moore.
She is survived by: her children, Alan Carley (Lisa), Bobby Wright (Cheryl) and Kay Carley; her grandchildren, Jeremy Swain (Melissa), Lindsey Carley and Scottie Carley (Marah); her sisters, Carolyn Allman (Jimmy) and Odenia Miller (Jim); and her daughter-in-law Tiffany Smith. She is also survived by 4 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Lowndes Funeral Home (1131 Lehmberg Rd, Columbus, MS 39702). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
