With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elizabeth Spencer of Columbus, Mississippi, who passed away on September 3, 2025 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Marler D. Coleman and Vernie Lee Clemmons Coleman; her husband Claude A. Spencer; her daughter Wanda Cash; her son-in-law Sonnie Hooper; and her brothers, Albert Coleman, Carl Coleman and Millard Coleman.
She is survived by: her children, Terry Wayne Spencer (Rebecca) of Columbus, MS, Wayne Spencer (Cheryl) of Natchez, MS and Patsy Hooper of Gretna, LA; and her grandchildren, Christopher Spencer, Casey Spencer, Derek Cannon, Merenda Cannon, Sharon Brubaker, Deborah Hooper, Susan Hooper, Sonya Upton and Julia Shrout. She is also survived by 14 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren.
