It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Frances Bennet Johnson of Columbus, Mississippi, who passed away on February 5, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Bennet Nooe and Mattie Ruth Dillon Nooe; her husband Ernest Lane Johnson; her brother Charles Nooe; and her half-sister Mary Carter Nooe Hackney.

She is survived by : her children, Sally Mangum (Bob) of Columbus, MS and Bennet Johnson (Sheila) of Fort Worth, TX; her grandchildren, Rachel Mangum of Columbus, MS, Violet Johnson of Denver, CO, Sarah Mangum of Lubbock, TX and Chris Johnson of Fort Worth, TX; and her sister-in-law Jean Barr of Knoxville, TN. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
