He was predeceased by: his parents, Murl T. Young, Sr. and Edna Dean Young; and his brothers, Murl T. Young, Jr. and John David Young. He is survived by: his wife Kathy Hill Young; his sons, Dewayne Young (Robyn) and Derrick Young (Courtney); his sister Gloria Taylor (Donald); and his grandchildren, Austin Braswell, Chandler Young, Leyton Young and Benton Young.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Memorial Funeral Home Chapel (716 2nd Ave N, Columbus, MS 39701). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at the Of Christ Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Frankie's honor to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, Tn 38105.
