It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gail Jackson Norton of Columbus, Mississippi, who passed away on May 5, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Hurket Jackson and Hazel Strohm White; her daughter Robyn Forrester; her siblings, Gwin Jackson and Jeanette Jackson; and her brother-in-law Larry Parker.
She is survived by: her husband Thomas Norton, Sr.; her children, Jennifer Spidle (Butch), Shawn Forrester (Christie), Thomas James Norton, II (Sharon), Chad Norton and T. J. Norton (Sandra); her grandchildren, Keeton Neal (Tyler), Katie Boyd (Shay), Gavin Forrester, Brantley Forrester, Ryan Norton (Monica), Gage Norton and Adrienne Grantham (Blake); her siblings, Jean Parker and Mike Jackson (Joyce); her sister-in-law Joy Jackson-McMinn (Jim); and her close friend Teresa Bramlette of Brandon, MS. She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren.
