He is survived by: his former wife Gloria Jean Miller; his wife Catherine Griffin; his children, Dinah R. Griffin, Gary W. Griffin, Jr., Stacye Richardson, Divah C. Griffin and Keith Richardson; his siblings, Sheila Thompson, Yolancer Nixon, Sherman Henderson, Debra Hill (Sammie), Carl Gardner (Sharon), Eddie Jethrow (Jaqueline), Herman Jethrow (Lenita), Everett Jethrow, Larwanda Troop (Herman) and Mary Coleman (James); his stepmother Mirk Jethrow; and his grandchildren, Chasity Richardson, Christopher and Antonio Walker. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
