We are sad to announce that on May 20, 2025, at the age of 73, George Andrew Fant of Columbus, Mississippi passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Julius Terry "Skeeter" Fant, Sr. and Virginia Joy Mixon Fant; his siblings, Julius Terry Fan, Jr. and Christine Fant; and his stepgrandson Jimmy Ray Handley.
He is survived by: his wife Alice Shockley Fant; his sons, Jewell Cody Fant and Julius Bryan Fant; his grandchildren, Brianna Fant, David Lester and Danielle Lester; his stepchildren, Erin Handley and Woody Cantrell; his stepgrandchildren, Felicity Hamby and Tanya Pellino (Amedeo); and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Avery Hamby, Emery Merritt, Andres Cabellero, Emelia Cabellero, Michele Pellino and Celestina Pellino.
