He was predeceased by: his parents, Polly Houser and Shorty Houser; his son Jerry Houser; his grandchildren, Craig Houser and Scottie Houser; his siblings, Beverly Norton, Tommy, Keith, Joe and Douglas Houser; and his daughter-in-law Brenda Houser.
He is survived by: his wife Patsy Houser; his children, Karen Shives, Paul Houser and Michael Houser; his siblings, Diane Riffe and Frank Houser; and his daughter-in-law Julie Houser. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; and 8 great grandchildren.
