It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gerry Marlene Murphy of Columbus, Mississippi, born in Saint Louis, Missouri, who passed away on April 14, 2023, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Jerry Roscoe Thompson; her child Shawnee Murphy; and her grandchild Shawn Ricks. She is survived by: her sons, Shannon Murphy (Carmon) and Adam Murphy; her grandchildren, Faye Warren, Janet Warren, Tyler Murphy, McKenzie Murphy, Molly Murphy, Tucker Murphy, Taedden Murphy and Matteo Murphy; and her sisters, Diane Witte, Carol Johnson and Sandy Thompson. She is also survived by Four great-grandchildren.
