He is survived by: his mother-in-law Sallie Edmond; his wife Sallie Jones; his daughters, Paige Jones of Columbus, MS and Marcey Ward of Chicago Heights, Illinois; his siblings, Doris Jones of Columbus, MS, Janice Young of Columbus, MS, Emma Jean Lanier (Jimmy) of Columbus, MS, Maezette Prewitt of Tuscaloosa, Rose Coley of Tuscaloosa, Linda Lash (Freddie) of Columbia, Beverly Mallard (James) of Jackson, MS, Sandra McCaa (Calvin) and Stanley Jones (Lander) of Birmingham, Alabama; and his grandchildren, Deon, Akayla, Jordan, MaKenzie, Martiana, Marciara, Mercedes and Amonti. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
