She is survived by: her mother Eula Mae Carson Jones; her friend Helen; her husband Oliver Lester Phillips Jr.; her children, Gregory Lester Phillips (Toni), Sandra Marie Phillips and Kenneth Alan Phillips (Carmen); her grandchildren, Shannon Phillips Jones (Scott), Madison Phillips Smith (Matt), Avery Phillips, Carson Phillips, Olivia Phillips, Shelby Phillips and Taylor Phillips; her great grandchildren, Blaine, Walter, Levi Jones, Solomon, Theodore and Auguste Smith; and her sister Lily Zaiontz (Hank). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the First Methodist Church (602 Main St, Columbus, MS 39701). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 at the Friendship Cemetery.
