It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Henry Simmons of Columbus, Mississippi, born in Richmond, Virginia, who passed away on August 10, 2023, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Simmons and Stana Helen Young Taylor, III. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Miles "Lee" Taylor of Columbus, MS; his brother Craig S. Taylor (Kista) of Apache, OK; his niece Kaitlyn Taylor Knott; and his nephews, Morgan Taylor, Patrick Miles, Austin Miles and Caden Miles. He is also survived by four great nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Columbus Lowndes Humane Society, P.O. Box 85, Columbus, MS, 39703, the American Cancer Society, or to any charitable organization.
