He was predeceased by: his parents, James Harry Porter and Jewel Howard Porter. He is survived by: his wife Wendy Owens Porter; and his siblings, David Porter (Wendy), Martha Augustinowitz (Tommy), Linda Kee (Larry Wayne) and Francis Blanton. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
