It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Ray Ratcliff (Columbus, Mississippi), who passed away on May 24, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William V. Ratcliff and Ola Mae Ratcliff (Martindale); his wife Joyce Ann Ratcliff (Westbrook); and his daughter Kimberly Rene Ratcliff. He is survived by: his siblings, Johnny Ratcliff, George Ratcliff, Elizabeth White, Bessie Gifford, Ruby Mae Stone, Helen Ward and Lillian Pouch; his daughter Denise Burk (Donald Burk); his grandsons, Corey Allen Burk (Lindsey) and Kyler James Burk (Kara); and his great grandchildren, Alice Claire Burk, Camren Rhys Burk, Henry Robert Burk, Jaxson Levi Burk and Avery Joy Burk.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the American Heart Association and the American Diabetes Association.
