It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janet Britton of Columbus, Mississippi, born in Aliceville, Alabama, who passed away on October 19, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse J. Pritchett and Lorena Hale Pritchett; her son Doug Lee; and her brothers, James J. Pritchett and Carl Pritchett.
She is survived by: her children, Kelly Britton of Columbus, MS, Terry Lee (Sherry) of Tuscaloosa, AL, Max Britton (Kim) of Orlando, FL, Vince Britton (Lisa) of Caledonia, MS, Jacky Britton (Rachel) of Columbus, MS and Cody Howell of Columbus, MS; and her siblings, Jearlyn Hammond of Chicago, IL, Bobby Pritchett (Janet) of Aliceville, AL and Jerry Pritchett (Pat) of Tuscaloosa, AL. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
