He was predeceased by: his parents, John Frederick Knight and Martha Brazeale Brown; his stepfather James A. Brown; his sister Carol Skains; his brother-in-law Gerald Jones; and his grandmother Ida Brazeale.
He is survived by: his siblings, James Smith (Judy), Joe Brazeale (Nelda), Ricky Knight (Kathy) and Sharon Jones. He is also survived by two daughters, one son, 9 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren.
