She is survived by: her husband Ed Atkins; her sisters, Willa Smith and Nancy Duncan; her children, Scott Atkins (Mary) and Kristie James (Danny); her grandchildren, Kaley James, Jonathan Atkins and Kyndal James; and her great grandchild Theodore Nessel.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 22nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the First Cumberland Presbyterian Church (1736 Beersheba Rd, Columbus, MS 39702). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 22nd 2025 at 2:30 PM at the same location.
